Fine art paintings & landscapes by Irvin Bomb are on display as nature drawings & urban landscapes.
Irvin Bomb began his career as a landscape artist. The buildings and bridges within Bomb's cityscapes are painted with close study of their geometric forms. This method is also applied when he renders the female form within his representational art. Through careful observation, Bomb aims to portray the subtle shapes of nature by applying first the midtones before laying in the darks. Bomb often renders his paintings in B/W prior to applying color. Separating the drawing & painting process into several stages allows Bomb to intensely focus on each individual challenge with respect to rendering space & form onto a two dimensional surface.
